For many in the developed world, life is generally good: a roof over our heads, food on the table, clean water. You take these things for granted but for so many here, even achieving these simple basic things is a daily struggle. That's why it is important to occasionally stand back and think about this, and give something back. The Foundation believes that if you have the opportunity to help, then you should seize it. Of course we understand that we can't dedicate our entire lives to volunteering (we also have to survive and have our own lives) but giving just a short period of your life to volunteer can really have an impact on other people's lives.
